Hard Headed Comedy is a Westchester- and NYC-based live comedy production company delivering bold, high-energy stand-up shows. Founded in 2016 by comedian Luz Michelle, Hard Headed Comedy has spent the past several years producing dozens of live shows annually, bringing New York City’s sharpest stand-up talent to venues and communities across the Tri-State area, where great comedy is not always easy to find.
From libraries, breweries, theaters, and cultural spaces to fundraisers, private events, and community venues, Hard Headed Comedy curates unforgettable lineups that blend New York grit with suburban charm. Hard Headed Comedy shows regularly feature working comedians from NYC’s top clubs, festivals, and touring circuits, alongside rising voices and diverse talent that reflect the communities we serve, such as Ophira Eisenberg, Liz Glazer, Myk Kaplan, Regina Deccico, Pedro Gonzalez, Alex Carabano, Liz Barrett, Ralph Anthony and Charles McBee, among many others.
